Rosh Chodesh Gatherings

Rosh Chodesh marks the beginning of the new month in the Hebrew calendar, which starts with the new moon. The Jewish version of a western astrological new moon circle, Rosh Chodesh gives us the space to gather, connect, and share with one another.

At our Rosh Chodesh (or RoCho, for short) gatherings, we discuss the spiritual energies of the upcoming month and its holidays, share our wisdom and struggles with each other.  tell stories, honor our ancestors and guides, and more. If Rosh Chodesh falls on Shabbat, we will include candle-lighting or Havdalah rituals to further invite the energy of rest.

This program is open to members of the public (not just members of Congregation T'chiyah!)

Gatherings will take place at the T'chiyah sanctuary beginning at 7:00 pm.

Please bring a journal for writing or doodling, a mug for tea, and anything else you need to be comfortable.
