What's a M'CHAIYAH? Coming from the Hebrew "chai" – just like T'CHIYAH –  this Yiddish word refers to something that is life-giving, rejuvenating, refreshing and delightful.

This year's M'CHAIYAH honors 10 years with the visionary leadership of RABBI ALANA ALPERT, who came to T'chiyah in 2014 as part-time rabbi, part-time community organizer. Under Rabbi Alana's leadership, T'chiyah has tripled in size, growing into a flourishing, intergenerational spiritual home for a progressive Jews throughout Metro Detroit.

Join us on SUNDAY, MARCH 9 at 3-6 PM the Garden Theater in downtown Detroit for live music, l'chaims (festive drinks), and joyful celebration – for the sake of sustaining our community for the long-haul.
